This free webinar is aimed at anyone considering Secondary school teaching as a career in Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire or West London. The i2i Teaching Partnership is an Ofsted Outstanding School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) provider for secondary education. We are also the lead accredited teacher training provider for the Basingstoke Alliance SCITT and the Wildern Partnership SCITT and we work with secondary schools across Surrey, Hampshire, West London and Berkshire to deliver our highly supportive teacher training programme, leading to both QTS and PGCE for aspiring secondary school teachers.

In this virtual event, we will give you information about:

- how to become a Secondary school teacher,

- the qualifications needed,

- gaining school experience,

- funding options,

- what it is like to train with the i2i SCITT,

- how to apply.

Please note that in order to train to teach you need to hold a Degree.

P lease also note that we are a UK based secondary initial teacher training provider and as such this webinar is aimed at people who are looking to train to teach (secondary) in Surrey/Hampshire/Berkshire and West London in the United Kingdom.

We are not a licenced sponsor therefore we are not able to support any VISA applications from International students to study in the UK.

In order to receive any financial support for a UK fee-paying initial teacher training programme, you need to be a UK national or have settled or pre-settled status, and have been residing in the UK for three years before your course commences. (This last condition is not relevant for Physics or MFL programmes).
