Paid search ads are the quickest way to get your website to the top of the search engine results. With the right strategy, you can show your adverts to customers who are actively looking to make a purchase.

This half-day training course will help you understand the basics of Google Ads and see how paid search can fit into your wider marketing strategy. You will be shown how to create campaigns and choose the right keywords to appeal to your audience.

As part of the workshop, you will learn about the importance of language in adverts. We will look at how to craft an effective text ad, making use of keyword research and search intent.

Finally, we will cover return on investment and how you can track that your adverts are performing well. This involves linking your account with Google Analytics and making use of the reporting that both tools can provide.

All of our masterclasses draw upon Digital Allies’ years of experience of working with Google Ads campaigns.

Your trainer is an experienced practitioner and a qualified teacher. The course materials have been designed to be interactive, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions throughout the day. We update our materials regularly to ensure you have the most up-to-date training on the market.

The workshop will take place at Digital Allies’ new HQ in the centre of the Team Valley. Training takes place from 9.30am - 12.30pm.

Is this course for me?

This course has been designed to help digital marketers learn more about Google Ads and the benefits of paid search. It will be useful if you are thinking of creating Google Ads campaigns but have no experience of the platform.

How many people will be there?

In order to keep our sessions practical and give you plenty of time to have one-to-one help, we limit attendance to six people.

What should I bring with me?

Due to the practical nature of this course, you will need a Google account with access to Google Ads. You will also need to bring a laptop.

Who is my trainer?

The session will be led by Scott Goodacre, Training Lead at Digital Allies. He’s a qualified teacher and experienced marketer who has worked in senior marketing roles across several sectors.

What else do I need to know?

Our training is designed to be friendly and interactive. You can ask us anything you want - the stupidest question is the one that’s not asked!

You’ll be at our brand new office in the Team Valley, and we’ll provide tea and coffee along with free WiFi. There’s also plenty of free parking on the roads surrounding the office.
