Description

This event is for those who want to be inspired and learn more about how to get their work published - and how best to go about it.

This pragmatic training day is for anyone with a background in education (but not exclusively) who is interested in writing, blogging, social media and online tools which leads to getting ideas published in print. On the day, we will explore the most up-to-date approaches from research and practice, as well as a few learned secrets, so that you can leave with a toolkit of ideas and get started!

Agenda:

  1. Backstory of @TeacherToolkit
  2. The science of storytelling ...
  3. Edtech tools for working smarter
  4. How to plan a book and its contents
  5. How to get writing and the importance of deadlines
  6. The power of collaboration
  7. The final stages of the book process e.g. typeset; editing; proofreading
  8. Tracking sales and getting your work to a wider audience.
