Get SET is a professional skills development programme for students working for the University of Sheffield’s professional services. It brings together student interns who undertake project-based work as Student Ambassadors for Learning and Teaching (SALTs) and as interns for University of Sheffield Enterprise (USE) and 301: Academic Skills and Development Centre (301). It provides these students with in-depth, additional training to that they receive as university interns as well as skills development opportunities and support to enable them excel in their working role and beyond.
Gett SET is a recognised activity for Sheffield Graduate Award and the Higher Achievement Education Report (HEAR). To get recognition for Get SET with either award, you must:
1. Attend a minimum of four Get SET workshops.
2. Complete the Get SET assignment to a suitable standard.
Please note you must be an intern at either USE, 301 or SALTs to register for this event.
