An exciting opportunity for Staffordshire 16-30s to get closer to nature and learn conservation skills & take part in bushcraft workshops!

About this event

On this 5 day in-person programme you’ll:

  • Build confidence and self-esteem working in an outdoor setting
  • Learn and experience practical countryside management skills
  • Take part in bushcraft workshops and gain simple bushcraft skills like wittling
  • Gain valuable work experience, communication and team-working skills
  • Get the opportunity to achieve a John Muir award and enhance your CV
  • Get your lunch and travel expenses provided
  • PLUS get 1-2-1 support provided throughout the programme and for 3 months after completion!

The Prince's Trust is a youth charity, so this programme is free to young people aged 16-30 not currently in full time work, training or education, living in Staffordshire.

There is a Taster Day on 19th October 1pm-3pm to give you a flavour of what you'll get out of the course, and the programme itself runs 25th-29th October. The programme will be hosted at The Wolseley Centre, ST17 0WT.

Registering for this event does not mean you are guaranteed a place on the programme.
