The Prince’s Trust is one of the UK's largest youth charities. We support young people aged 16-30 to build confidence, develop new skills and kickstart careers through a variety of free opportunities.

The Trust's free Get Started in Creative Design course gives you the chance to learn more about fashion and the work that goes into creating eye-catching garments.

On this five-day programme you will:

• Learn how to design & create a fabulous functional garment from recycled materials.
• Develop your skills on a sewing machine and learn how to use a pattern.
• Discover how you can use creativity to improve your mental health.
• Build your confidence, develop your communication skills & more!

PLUS receive ongoing support to help you achieve your goals after the course has ended!

• Course dates: Monday 21st February - Friday 25th February 2022
• Duration: Five days (10:00-15:30)
• Location: Coventry

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for this course you must be:

• Aged 16-30
• Live in Coventry or the surrounding area
• Are not currently in work, education or training
