This six hour workshop is open to anyone who would like to write a short play.

In today's workshop we will be covering characterisation and plot. By the end of the workshop participants will have been shown how to write a character driven short play.

Topics covered will be:

  • Delving deeper into characterisation.

  • Characterisation and dialogue

  • Devising a plot for three or more actors

  • How to get your work onstage.

The workshop will be led by Anne Curtis, director or Green Curtain Theatre. Guest tutor on this workshop will be Martin McNamara witer of "Traitor, Cads and Cowards" first produced by Green Curtain Theatre productions as part of the "In the Shadow or In the Shelter" festival.

The workshop will very 'hands on' wth participants given ample opportunity to hone their playwriting skills in a safe and supportibe space.

Please note that this workshop will not be suitable for under 18s
