Live interviews for entry-level Health & Social Care roles!

• Are you 16-30 and looking for employment in the Southampton, Portsmouth and Isle of Wight areas?
• Are you interested in a career where you can make a difference?

This programme will help you explore the wide range of Health and Social Care roles on offer, and prepare you to get a job in the sector - whether that's within the NHS or in a Care Home.

You will also get the opportunity to have up to three interviews with Health and Social Care employers that are hiring right now!

How the course works

You will attend a Taster Day on Wednesday 20th January where you will learn more about the programme and be able to ask any questions you may have.

The main course will be running from Tuesday 26th - Thursday 28th January.

Over these 3 days, you will:

• Complete an online workbook with more information about various care settings, career pathways and where to look for jobs.
• Receive tailored support to help you identify and demonstrate your key strengths and values specifically for Health & Social Care jobs.
• Participate in a virtual recruitment event where you will interview with up to 3 different employers from across the Solent who are hiring for entry-level vacancies with immediate starts.

Don't forget!

• The programme is eligible for young people aged 16-30 who live within a commutable distance for jobs in the Solent area (Southampton, Portsmouth and Isle of Wight).
• All the sessions will take place online. Ensure you have access to Zoom on a preferred device (i.e. phone, laptop, tablet)
• Be prepared to start work immediately. Before you sign up, think about how the current government measures will affect you and the people at home with you.

After registering your details, a Prince's Trust Executive will give you a call to check that you're eligible for the programme (i.e. you're aged 16-30 and ready for a new job) and invite you to the Taster Day.
