Interviews for entry-level Health & Social Care roles!

In this programme you will explore the range of roles on offer, and prepare to secure a job in the Health & Social Care sector.

You will get the opportunity to have up to 3 interviews with Health and Social Care employers that are hiring right now

Roles are available across Devon

*This course will be run online via Zoom as part of our #staysafe approach. We will send out a zoom link after you've confirmed your place.

WHO: Young people aged 18-30 who are motivated and ready to work!

WHEN: Wednesday 9th March (Taster Day)

Tuesday 15th - Thursday 17th March (the main programme, including interview day) - You must participate on all days.

WHERE: Take part from home using your phone, tablet or computer (Zoom)

STEP 1 - GET READY

The week before, we will share our Jobs Pack with information on all the roles available - you should read this and use it to prepare!

On Wednesday 9th February, you will attend a 'Taster Day' and mandatory introductory session, where we will:

• Introduce the team
• Talk you through the course plan
• Give more details on the jobs in our Jobs Pack
• Give you an opportunity to ask any questions you might have.

STEP 2 - GET STARTED

On 15th & 16th March, we will run employability workshops. In these sessions, you will learn how to perfect your interview technique and practice selling yourself to an employer as well as understanding the industry and creating a career pathway.

On 17th March, you will have up to three 10-15 minute video interviews with different Health and Social Care employers recruiting for entry-level positions.

The following day, we will call you to let you know which employers wish to progress with your application. Even if you have not been selected, you will get feedback from every interview to help you improve!

STEP 3 – GET EMPLOYED

We will continue to support you in all your applications. You will also have access to a dedicated Prince's Trust employability mentor to coach you on your journey to employment for up to 6 months.
