This essential workshop will help you recognise what enhances your chances of being successful with academic applications and builds your awareness of what you may face when applying for posts. Along with reviewing the crucial preparation required to make you shine throughout the selection process, you will gain practical tools to help you promote yourself and enables you to present your research in an inspiring way (both face to face and on paper).

This workshop delivered by Sharon Nicholson, specialist careers consultants, offers opportunities to gain skills in Personal qualities, Professional and Career development and Communication and dissemination, outlined in the RDF subdomains B1, B3 & D2.
Your presenter: Sharon is a learning and development professional with over 20 years experience. She has a portfolio career, delivering training both as a freelance consultant for the University of Liverpool and for Windmills Ltd where she works across the UK helping professionals to achieve their career goals
