UNISON is offering a fantastic 6-hour workshop for UNISON members in the South West. GET THAT JOB

This course will introduce you to some of the key elements of exploring new employment opportunities, where to search for jobs, analysing the job advert itself and lastly application forms. There will be a focus on identifying your current skills and strengths, and how these can be used effectively to maximise your chances of being the successful applicant. The course aims to boost your confidence around the application process by giving practical guidance which you can take away and use now, or in the future.

Course Aim: To provide practical information about the different stages within searching and applying for jobs, and to support with the identification of current skills and how they can be utilised within the job application process.

The sessions for this workshop will take place over a three week period with each session being 2 hours. You must be available for all three sessions.

A log in link to the online session will be sent to you within 7 days of the course start date. This course will run via ZOOM an online platform. A collaborative classroom link will give access to gain materials for the workshop. To access this you will need to create a login for CANVAS. Support for accessing any of the online platforms can be provided.
