Data analytics is the buzz phrase for 2016 as everybody begins to understand that we now have the potential to use data to significantly improve lives. However, interpreting the data in a meaningful way for the organization, front end advisors/professionals and service users requires active engagement in this process. Development of systems need to ensure they are flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a diverse range of users.
In this interactive ‘Getting to Grips’ session Professor Amanda Kirby, CEO of DO-IT Solutions will lead on discussions on how it is not the data that changes lives, but how you use it that matters.
• The strong rationale from research and practice how and why this approach can drive new delivery solutions and create new and improved practice.
• An example of data from of a computerised profiling system that has been developed and widely used for more than 10 years in a range of settings and with users, with examples from Welfare to Work, offending, education and social care settings nationally and internationally.
• Some of the practical considerations in delivering this approach.
