Description

Google Analytics is the go-to tool for digital marketers wanting to make data-led decisions. The range of insights available is exhaustive, and the skill lies in being able to quickly access information that is relevant to you.

This one-day workshop is designed to help you measure what’s important to your organisation so that you can see whether your marketing is having the impact you want. We will spend time creating event tracking templates, exploring attribution models, and coming up with a measurement plan aligned with your business’s goals.

You will leave equipped with the knowledge to check that Google Analytics is installed correctly on a webpage, and know how to solve the most common installation issues. This allows you to be more confident in the quality of the data you are tracking.

Finally, everyone at the workshop will spend a large portion of the time learning how to navigate through the information Google Analytics measures. We will help you identify the most popular pages on your site, how people have found them, and how to find out whether people are ultimately converting.

All of our masterclasses draw upon Digital Allies’ years of experience of working with Google Analytics.

Your trainer is an experienced practitioner and a qualified teacher. The course materials have been designed to be interactive, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions throughout the day. We update our materials regularly to ensure you have the most up-to-date training on the market.

The workshop will take place at Digital Allies’ new HQ in the centre of the Team Valley. Training takes place from 9.30am - 4.30pm, with an hour for lunch.

What will I learn?

This one-day session will give you the skills to be able to:

  • Decide what metrics are important for you to measure.
  • Monitor every interaction customers have with your website.
  • Identify how people landed on your site.
  • See which pages users are visiting.
  • Find out more about the people who visit your website.

Is this course for me?

This course has been designed to help digital marketers learn more about Google Analytics and the insights that are available to you. It would be helpful if you had access to Analytics and responsibility for the website you monitor.

How many people will be there?

In order to keep our sessions practical and give you plenty of time to have one-to-one help, we limit attendance to six people.

What should I bring with me?

You need a Google account with access to Analytics. You will need to bring your laptop as well so that you can follow along with the guidance and get help on your specific account if you need it.

Who is my trainer?

The session will be led by Scott Goodacre, Training Lead at Digital Allies. He’s a qualified teacher and experienced marketer who has worked in senior marketing roles across several sectors.

What else do I need to know?

Our training is designed to be friendly and interactive. You can ask us anything you want - the stupidest question is the one that’s not asked!

You’ll be at our brand new office in the Team Valley, and we’ll provide tea and coffee along with free WiFi. There’s also plenty of free parking on the roads surrounding the office.
