This is part 1 of two workshops aimed at providing support and guidance in applying for a GetSet Solent grant or for any other type of investment.

This workshop will explain why you need a business plan and will provide the basic ingredients for an effective plan that can be used to map your businesses objectives and help obtain that all important financial support.

A business plan is a key document that provides a holistic picture of your business and is your roadmap for business success – “A goal without a plan is just a wish”

We will cover:

• Why a business plan is essential for short and long-term business and financial planning

• The key elements of an effective business plan

• Tips on how to present your business plan to potential funders and to gain grant funding

This workshop is being delivered as part of the GetSet Solent programme, which is a two-year business support programme part-funded by the European Union. GetSet Solent offers specialist, free support to help businesses with the potential and ambition to grow, through a range of workshops, 1:1 support and access to a grant programme.
