Event description

DECC estimated that the first phase of ESOS would actually reduce energy consumption by 3TWh each year, with businesses saving over £250m on their energy bills.

This is not to be sneezed at but it is a mere drop in the ocean compared to the estimated £2.2 bn total savings identified. And we know that in many cases audits were not as robust and as detailed as they could be and that many savings opportunities were missed.

In the light of the recent IPCC report which warns that we have only 12 years to address climate change, we should all be using our positions to maximise the delivery of energy saving opportunities.

So - how can you ensure that your organisation engages with the ESOS process, identifies the most opportunities and capitalises on the opportunities that this next phase of ESOS identifies?

This webinar, which is a joint initiative between the Environment Agency and energy specialists JRP Solutions, will address some of the key factors in ensuring best value, engaging stakeholders and in optimising energy savings opportunities.

  1. A reminder of the basics - Key dates, facts, figures and routes to compliance
  2. An update from Environment Agency on Phase 2 – and a glimpse into the future
  3. Personal experience of Phase 1 from a client
  4. What can we learn prom Phase 1 – the good, bad and the ugly!
  5. How do you get best value from the process – lots of great advice from the experts about what positive steps you can take before, during and after your audit to ensure you maximise the return on your ESOS investment.
  6. Q&A session – send us your questions in advance and our experts will do their best to help.
