Getting Down and Digital
Thu 6 April 2017, 10:00 – 12:00 BST
We’re going to be digging around to explore how your business is represented online, from your own website, to recommendations and comments being made about you by others.
By understanding the range of digital marketing activities out there, we'll help you look at your own website and social media channels from your stakeholders’ and customers’ perspectives.
Are you telling your business’ stories effectively?
How can you keep your digital content current and interesting?
In this Masterclass we'll give you
- An overview of how businesses are using email, social media, content marketing and SEO
- The key tools you need to be using to determine what’s working well for you
- Opportunities to try new approaches
- A personalised action plan, so you're ready to tackle any skills gaps or allocate new resources to run the projects you’ve identified
This will be a very practical session, so come prepared to dig and delve into your website, blog, Facebook, or Linkedin.
The Masterclass will be run by Rebecca Craven, a Digital Marketing trainer and assessor at 3aaa apprenticeships. Rebecca has seventeen years of experience in working in marketing with a varied portfolio covering the charity, public and small business sector.
3aaa are experts in apprenticeships but it’s the talent behind that which we are focussing on here – Rebecca will use apprenticeships work and journeys as examples in her discussion and presentation. 3aaa act as sources of guidance for a lot of businesses and this doesn’t cover just apprenticeships so members of the 3aaa York team will be on hand to answer any questions you have.
No need to bring your own devices with you as 3aaa York has desktop computers on which you'll be working.
The event opens with registration and networking at 9.30am for a 10am prompt start and finish at midday.
