Getting funding for pre-clinical development Module II (Hammersmith)
Fri 24 March 2017, 09:00 – 14:00 GMT
Increasingly, pharmaceutical companies are looking to source candidate therapeutics with extensive pre-clinical data. This gap is being filled predominantly by small biotech companies using translational grants and investment from venture capital, charity, and government funders. Who are these new funders of pre-clinical research? What do you need to show to convince them to back your project?
This module will contain a presentation by profesisonal pitch coaches, followed by a practical session on preparing and delivering project pitches to potential funders. Attendess will be able to pitch their own research or a model project to the CEO of an industry funder (to be announced).
This workshop is free to researchers at Imperial College London. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
This is the Hammersmith session; if you wish to attend the South Kensington workshop, please click here.
