Getting Good Press Coverage For Your Fundraising Campaign

As a charity, or community organisation, you are likely to be rich in inspiring and life-changing stories of the impact that you have created. But are you sharing these stories to gain support, funding or both?

This workshop will focus on storytelling and online fundraising to maxmise the impact of your campaign. Grace from Yellow Jigsaw, will focus on how to sell your story and create winning campaigns and Joe from Localgiving, will share his insight into digital communications and online fundraising.

This workshop will cover:

  • How to ‘sell’ your story to supporters.
  • What makes a great news story to gain press coverage.
  • The power of storytelling to create winning campaigns.
  • How to tie your story in with social media and digital marketing opportunities.
  • How to share your successes digitally.
  • How to run fundraising campaigns online as well as offline.
