Getting hands-on with the Cubetto playset from Primo Toys

October 23, 2017 at 1:00PM

CAS East Midlands (Nottingham Trent University)

Introduction to the Cubetto playset - an innovative educational resource to introduce younger children to the world of programming and computational thinking without the use of a computer interface. ABK010

This workshop will provide you with a wonderful opportunity to get hands-on with the little cubetto robot and it's supporting resources. You will be able to explore fun and challenging activities that will support a whole range of cross-curricular learning outcomes.

Myself and my colleagues at Wellingborough School have been using Cubetto for the past 12 months from Nursery to Yr 4. There is no steep learning curve here - Cubetto is a straight out of the box and into young hands learning resource that, under your guidance provides a platform for creativity and critical thinking, which is centered and led by your young students. You don't need to bring along any additional resources as all will be supplied, just yourself and your enthusiasm and imagination
