Teaching covers working with a wide range of age groups, from children of primary school age (5 – 11) through to teenagers in secondary schools and young people and adults in colleges of further education and university.
In this webinar, we will explore:-
· An introduction to teaching in primary, secondary and tertiary education (tertiary, also known as further education, means teaching people after school leaving age)
· The entry requirements and the qualifications required to be professionally recognised as a school teacher
· The qualifications taken by teachers in tertiary education
· The learning pathways people take to get into teaching in schools and colleges
· Finance for the costs of teacher training in schools and colleges
· The pay & prospects for teachers in primary, secondary and tertiary education
In this webinar, we will be joined by a representative of a professional teacher training organisation who will talk about training for school teaching and how to get started.
