In June 2019, the Perth and Kinross Play Framework was launched with a number of high profile speakers who talked about:

• Play in the Home

• Play in the Early Years, Childcare and Schools

• Play in the Community

The Play Framework has a strong emphasis on the Getting It Right For Every Child approach and clearly illustrates how play can contribute to all of the well-being indicators and be integral to the work of those working with children, young people and communities.

An Action Plan has been developed and delivery of this is being undertaken by a range of services from across Perth and Kinross Community Planning Partnership.

We want you to come along to share what you are doing in your community and to hear about all the great work which is going on across the region. Children and Young Peoples' Health and Wellbeing, and play is part of everyones role, and we encourage you to attend.

Wherever they live, children and young people of all ages and abilities and interests, should be able to play in a variety of ways, in high quality spaces, within sigh of their homes or within easy walking distance, where they fell safe whether or not they are accompanied by adults. The format for the afternoon will be an overview of the National and Perth and Kinross Play Framework, an update on the local action plan, some examples of good practice and the opportunity to find out how your work can contribute to the local Perth and Kinross Play Framework.
