Full of practical exercises and frank insider tips, this one-off workshop is for theatre and dance makers, producers and students who want to get a better understanding of how work gets programmed.

Claire Symonds is the Senior Producer: Artist Development at The Lowry, where she has led the prestigious artist development programme for more than six years. During that time she has commissioned more than 50 productions that have gone on to tour nationally or internationally. Before joining The Lowry she spent five years at Arts Council England, as well as working as a freelance producer, script reader and talent scout for The Library Theatre Company and BBC Writersroom North. Claire is an accredited Relational Dynamics coach, a member of the Stride Women in Leadership programme and a trustee of Vonnegut Collective.
