THE WORKSHOP

In this session, we will look at genre and reader expectations, planning, plotting, characters and their interactions, drafting and editing as well as ensuring you manage to complete your manuscript so it doesn't get left in a drawer. There will be small activities to complete throughout to identify your sticking points and help you navigate your way through them.

THE TUTOR

Dr Charlotte Baker is an author and associate lecturer, with an interest in crime, horror and dark romance. She has written 80 publications, ranging from micro fiction to novels to academic articles. Charlotte enjoys spending time with her son, drinking coffee, walking, and conversing with the various monsters that float around her imagination.

This workshop will be delivered online and the link sent to you via Eventbrite 30 minutes before the start of the session.

Bring your writing tools and your imagination, and enjoy being led through the writing process by an expert in their field.
