Description

UK Data Protection legislation will change significantly when the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into place on 25 May 2018. From this date all charities and non- profit organisations must be ready to comply with the new regulations. Time is running out to ensure that your organisation is compliant and non-compliance could lead to the imposition of significant fines and, more significantly, loss of reputation.

Richmond CVS is pleased to announce that leading local law firm Moore Blatch and IT security company JUMPSEC are delivering a breakfast briefing on GDPR and data security for the non-profit sector. The two firms are uniquely combining their know-how on the subject to deliver insight about the legal and security challenges and opportunities presented by GDPR.

This briefing aims to give delegates:

• A better understanding of the new legal requirements of GDPR
• Some practical next steps to take to ensure your organisation is GDPR ready
• Advice on how to keep your organisation’s data secure
• An opportunity to ask questions of expert speakers
• Networking opportunities with your peers

Join us to get the information you need to ensure your organisation is GDPR ready.

Agenda:

8.00am Registration & networking
8.30am Presentations
9.30am Q&A
