This two hour ‘Bite Size’ course, led by Dorset Community Action, is aimed at voluntary and community groups and will assist you to prepare and present the key points about your project or organisation in order to attract funding and support. The course is being delivered in the run up to the DCA funding fair (17th November) to support groups prepare their “pitch” and maximise their impact when talking face to face with funders.
Who is the course for?
This course is designed for new and existing groups who want to develop skills and knowledge to be able to make an effective case to attract funds and support for their project or organisation’s activities.
The course will cover:-
- Developing clear project aims and outcomes based on sound evidence.
- Understanding how to write a impactful case for support
- Prepare your elevator statement
Date: 2nd November 2016 10.00 to 12.00 (9.45 Registration)
Venue: Allen Room, CLaRC, Wimborne BH21 1EA
Cost: £30 pp for voluntary and community groups, £40 pp for statutory groups
