Getting started: Apps for Good Computing Clubs

Join us for a short ‘getting started’ 20-minute session to give you the confidence to run your own computing club. It’s simple, engaging, and free - helping young people creatively problem-solve and build an app prototype for a local cause they care about.

In this short session, you will:

• Discover how Apps for Good makes a perfect computing club activity using our free resources - no cost, no prep, and no specialist computing teacher required!
• Explore our themes, including Apps for Social Action, Innovate for Climate Change, and AI for Good.
• Learn about our special offer for all clubs - a free, live online session with an Industry Volunteer, bringing real-world role models and insights directly to your learners in March 2026.

This session is perfect for secondary schools or youth organisations with young people aged 11+. No computing experience? No problem - our resources are designed for anyone with enthusiasm and a willingness to try something new!
