Principal Isaac Okpoti of Mitton Bible College in Lancashire says “We are delighted to welcome our first students onto this Worship course, we are passionate about upskilling Christians to serve in their local church as in Psalm 100:4 “Enter into His gates with Thanksgiving, and into His courts with Praise”. We encourage students to Read your Bible, Pray everyday in preparation for joining us”.


Who is this course for?

  • A musician in your local church who wants to upskill and encourage other members of your worship team.
  • A self taught musician who wants to get started leading worship in your church but needs some guidance.
  • Maybe you play an instrument and feel God is calling you to serve through worship and you don’t know where to start.
  • If you want to join an existing worship group in your local church but want to gain some confidence, knowledge and understanding about worship before doing so.
  • Students who are 18+ or 14+ accompanied by a parent/guardian.

I can’t read music does this matter?

No, come as you are, our team are used to working with musicians who learn in different ways, reading traditional music notation is not a requirement.

What denomination is Mitton Bible College?

We are a Bible School of the Word and thus nondenominational. You can find out more about by reading our statement of faith and reading about our council of reference.

What do I need to bring with me?

Bible Notebook Instrument Pen/pencil Your own Packed lunch/alternative the village centre is a 6minute walk to the centre of the village where there are shops, and eateries.
