Getting Started!

Self-employment for many is like making a leap from primary school to University without passing go.

For those who have been working in a large company there were accountants to do finance, human resources to help with people issues, sales to sell your product and now there is you with a phone and a laptop.

This is a session where you can discuss your issues and concerns and with the help of others we can explore ways to manage them.

Topics that will be covered include getting started in the morning and switching off at the end of the day. The dangers of day time television and people expecting you to sort out their problems during the day. We will consider the importance of cash flow and how to structure your work including the peaks and troughs experienced by many small businesses.
