About this event

  • 1 hour

How do you communicate with stakeholders who are already very busy and who will often hold several different stakes in your work? How can you move away from corporate-speak to communicate more like humans do: simply, clearly, creatively?

Agile comms expert Giles Turnbull will talk through some basics of the thinking behind open working and show some real-world examples of it being used well.

The session will cover practical ways to communicate more openly-

  • Show what you’re doing
  • Be more interesting to hear from
  • Use the words that humans do and other tips for creative writing
  • Communicate with slides and presentations
  • Write weeknotes and blogs

This webinar is for anyone in libraries, archives and museums who wants to take a fresh approach to their communications.
