This free workshop with independent funding consultant, Rachel Ireland, will help you get ready to send in your first grant application.

The course will cover:

• Researching and identifying funder, including checking eligibility, criteria and priorities

• The application process, including how to apply, deadlines and format

• Developing a strong proposal, including:

1. Your organisation's aims and objectives
2. Defining your project
3. Evidence of need
4. Beneficiaries - who are they and how will they benefit?
5. Outcomes, outputs and impact - how will you measure them?
6. Timescales
7. Detailed budget breakdown
8. Case studies, quotes, testimonials and supporting statements
9. Other supporting documents

You will also have the opportunity to discuss your project ideas and get some feedback, and you may be able to do some one-to-one follow-up work on a bid with Rachel or one of our other funding experts.
