Description

A hands-on session on creating infographics and how you might use them in your learning and teaching, creating engaging slides, accessing Creative Commons images and presenting data in appealing and engaging ways. NB this session will use technologies and software which are currently not available centrally through CSD, but you will be shown low cost or free (but limited) systems which you can use in your teaching., e.g. Canva, Visme and Piktochart.

This workshop is hosted by the Centre for Innovation in Education and open to University of Liverpool staff only.

Please use your University of Liverpool email address when booking ( e.g. @liverpool.ac.uk). CIE reserve the option of offering one to one meetings to attendees on workshops with fewer than five bookings.

The mission of the Centre for Innovation in Education (CIE) is to support innovation in learning, teaching and assessment through enhanced curriculum development. We encourage and guide academic staff within programme teams to innovate in: teaching, learning and assessment; and critically consider the use of digital tools and educational technology as part of a holistic curriculum design process.

We will work in partnership with academics and students to review and refresh our curricula and create a distinctive offer, whilst supporting colleagues to develop new and innovative undergraduate and postgraduate programmes informed by the needs of a range of stakeholders.We will enable staff to deliver stimulating teaching leading to the highest possible levels of student learning and satisfaction, investing in resources to support continuous innovation.
