This practical online session is perfect for complete beginners and anyone looking to make monitoring easier. Attendees will learn how to get started with monitoring their projects, from understanding what data to collect to using it effectively for planning and reporting. The session includes simple tasks, useful templates, and guidance on meeting funder requirements such as those from SPF and Interlink’s Community Grant scheme.

This session will cover:

  • What monitoring is and why it matters
  • What data you can collect (GDPR considerations)
  • How to design effective registration forms
  • How to recognise a good monitoring system (with a task)
  • How to use monitoring data for future planning (with a task)
  • Top tips, templates, and tools
  • SPF and Interlink Community Grant monitoring requirements
