About this event

  • Event lasts 30 minutes

Oral histories are a fantastic way of engaging with audiences, by both collecting and then sharing stories. This medium helps to keep history alive through the people who experienced it, and as such, it is important to consider some key questions to ensure that these testimonies can be used for many years to come.

Padmini is an experienced oral historian and a Trustee of the Oral History Society. She will be sharing her insights on getting started with oral histories, as well as highlighting resources available.

This will be a great session for those who are considering an oral history project or are in the stages of planning one, as well as those who want to make sure they are following best practice.
