Getting Started with Outcome and Impact Evaluation
Join Interlink RCT for a workshop to plan and design an impact-measuring evaluation form to capture basic short-term outcomes and impacts.
Do you want to demonstrate the impact of your organisation to others?
In this workshop you will find out:
- What is impact evaluation and when to use it?
- Explore what impact your organisation/project might have – looking at your aims and objectives. (using a logic model)
- Work out what questions you might want to ask to measure outcomes and impact
- Find out what sample size is needed to base your findings
- Find out what validated measures are
- Test and Try validated measures and discuss the pros and cons
- Develop a trial evaluation form to take away with you.
- Find out how to collect the data.
- Consider the ethics, consent, and data protection needed when undertaking evaluations.
- Thinking about qualitative methods to complement quantitative methods
- Explore how you might extend this learning to explore long-term, meaningful change that would not have happened without the intervention.
