Science & Tech • High Tech

This interactive training session provides teaching colleagues at the University of Leeds with the opportunity to experience and learn more about applications of virtual reality (VR) in teaching, as well as pathways to implementation.

The session will be co-delivered by Josh Gregg (HELIX Innovation Technologies Specialist) and the current Digital Education Enhancement VR representatives. It will cover:

  • Theory behind the use of VR in education.
  • Pedagogic principles and use cases of VR in teaching.
  • Subject-specific approaches to curriculum integration.
  • Challenges, opportunities, and pathways to implementation.

There will also be practical demonstrations of content already in active use, with examples illustrating a range of use cases and pedagogical applications.
