Event description

Description

Are you studying journalism, public relations, graphic or digital design, communications or related subjects and/or involved (or looking to get involved) with your university's student media? You may want to look into becoming a student member of the National Union of Journalists.

Whether you're already a member of the NUJ or interesting in becoming a member, come along to the Blacksmith and Toffeemaker (near City University) on Wednesday 28 September where the NUJ London Independent Broadcasting and New Media branch will be hosting an introductory meeting/social.

We'll offering some free food and drinks and casually talking about the numerous way to get involved in NUJ activism and what the union can do for you. You'll also have a chance to talk to working journalists about their work and careers.

Hope to see you all there!

Solidarity,

Alex MacDonald

Chair of LIBNM
