Description

Be Good Be Social

In this full-day hands on workshop we'll cover the fundamentals of Google Analytics. We'll cover the basics and move on to advanced topics such as goals and funnels. We will also explore how Google Analytics fits within the rest of your online marketing activities. We'll also look at how your organisation could benefit from a Google Ad Grant for Adwords and how Adwords work in general.

To benefit most from this workshop it is worth bringing along your own Google Analytics login credentials so that we can look at your organisations data. If you dont have these you can use our sample data-set. You'll also have the opportunity to compare and contrast your data with other delegates attending the workshop.

Google Analytics is a free to use tool that allows you to turn insights into action. Get stronger results across all your websites, apps and offline channels.

We'll also explore Google Grants available to Scottish charities - giving eligible organisations $120,000 of AdWords credits. We'll look at how you can utilise AdWords to reach the right people, helping you achieve your fundraising, marketing and service delivery goals.

In this workshop we'll cover:

1. The Google Analytics terms of reference.

2. Insights behind the data

3. How the data relates to user behaviour

4. How to apply for a Google Ad Grant - giving your charity a $120k per annum equivalent ad budget

5. How to best use the grant

6. How you can use Adwords without breaking the bank

7. Determining keywords

Please bring a laptop (preferred) or other wi-fi enabled device to take part in the hands-on sessions. If you cannot access one please let us know in advance and we will allocate you a device (we have limited numbers).

This full-day course is aimed at those new to online comms and those who want to take their social media presence to the next level. As with all of our workshops these sessions are aimed at charity, community group, social enterprise, housing association and public sector staff and volunteers.

Lunch and refreshments throughout the day are included in the £99 ticket price.

To pay offline using cheque or invoice simply select your payment method at checkout OR email carrie@thirdsectorlab.co.uk and we will quickly book a place on your behalf.

For every ticket sold we will make a donation to Glasgow NE Foodbank. The donation will enable them to feed a single parent and three children.
