Event description

Description

The world around us was built by people who have ideas. We all have the desire to build, grow and share our ideas. However, there are people in our society who decide to take a leap and build companies that bring ideas to life. The world of an entrepreneur can be scary, from fear of failure to investment concerns, but despite the unfavourable statistics new businesses are being created at a record pace. Deciding to make the leap to entrepreneurship can be incredibly rewarding but it is hard to know where to start. We want to share the raw stories of what it means to be an entrepreneur. We will be giving you the inside scoop on what you need to know to bring your ideas to life.

First Scoop invites you to attend our first talk on Starting Your Own Business: True Stories of the Journey of Entrepreneurship. Join us for a panel discussion with Jonny Shimmin founder of Spoon Cereal, Amar Hussain founder of Gap Year Escape & Amar Digital and Annabelle Breakenridge founder of Fit As Fugly, as they tell us their strategies for success, how to get over the three biggest challenges that prevent people from starting a business & their lessons learnt along the way. After the panel discussion we invite you to stay for a sit-down breakfast provided by Rude Health, Spoon Cereal, Platter London, Ugly Drinks & more.
