Has your organisation declared a climate emergency? Where are you on your journey towards a green recovery from Covid-19?
About this event
We are now facing the parallel crises of an ongoing global pandemic, economic recession, and a climate emergency. In the absence of strong national or international leadership on these issues, many local public sector organisations are responding by looking towards a holistic ‘build back greener' approach.
We all recognise, however, that tackling climate change has to be a team sport. No individual or organisation can go it alone.
This event is an opportunity to get involved with like-minded people from across the local public sector to join the conversation, and to lead the way in championing a green recovery from Covid-19, and a sustainable future for our places and communities.
There will be an opportunity to listen to what others are doing and to share your thoughts on how we can engage residents, businesses, and colleagues in our own organisation to move towards post-Covid carbon-neutrality in a practical, forward thinking, and transparent way.
