At TASKL we aim to offer to everyone the opportunity to know more about the world of the arts in order to increase their pleasure and appreciation of art in all its aspects in a social and friendly setting.

Our annual seasons of nine talks are all given by recognised experts who discuss subjects as varied as classical and modern painting, sculpture and pottery, dance and music, the theatre, cinema and art from around the world.

In addition our members’ social programme includes organised trips to galleries, historic houses and artistic events, other social get-togethers and an Advent Lunch in early December.

Members can also play an active part in encouraging art in the wider community through projects such as our highly successful Art Packs for Children project which we have run for the last four years for clients of our local foodbank.
