The ‘amazingly stunning’ G:FORCE GOSPEL CHOIR was formed in 2009 and operates as part of the creative arts community programme at Formby High School. We are a truly trans-generational choir consisting of staff, parents, colleagues, friends and family from across the Formby High School community. At full strength, we have over 80 talented members.
We perform regularly across the local community. This exciting and innovative choir rehearses every Tuesday evening during term time, from 6.30pm til 8.00pm in the School Hall. Join us for fun and laughter every week, plus great gigs, inspirational songs and memorable experiences!
Our repertoire consists of a broad variety of soul, gospel, R&B, pop and contemporary commissions. Arrangements are tailored to our distinctive vocal style, highlighting some incredible ensemble and solo abilities.
We organise our own public gigs at amazing venues, contribute to concerts as part of the school calendar and also travel around the North West and further afield for events and festivals. We also provide opportunities to work with some of the very best choral specialists from across the country.
We have a Welcome Night on Tuesday 2 September 6.30pm - 8.00pm,
Our Autumn term runs from 16 September to 16 December.
