Description

Ghost Hunt At The Dulwich Constitutional Club 25/11/17 10pm - 3 am.

We first visited this very ordinary looking location at the request of the owners because strange things were happening around the club, things being moved and thrown off shelves. When we investigated the location we soon discovered that this place was very very para-normally active - the outside just makes this place look ordinary what goes on inside is far from ordinary !!! Its very much fitting to say about this place don't judge a book by its cover !!! you have been warned !!!!

History

The official opening of the club premises in Lordship Lane took place on the 1st December, 1886, when a meeting was held in the large meeting room under the presidency of Morgan Howard, Q.C. Where the club began it's career with a membership of 200 which increased to 300 during the first year.

Great strides made by the club led to the committee in 1888 to look for more commodious premises and through the generosity of Sir John Blundell Maple, the present premises, Clumber House, East Dulwich Grove were acquired. They were occupied in November 1888 and almost immediately the Small Hall and Concert Hall were erected.

In 1912 the club passed through a critical financial period, the loyal support of the members came forward with financial assistance. In those anxious days of the war, the club maintained an untiring effort to be of the greatest possible assistance to the Government.
