WE WELCOME YOU TO THIS VERY ACTIVE LOCATION

You thought buses were boring, think again.

St Helens is home to a hidden gem that even many of its neighbours on Hall Street don’t know about - the North West Museum of Road Transport.

The museum features some extraordinary buses with backstories, from a former Maltese army truck to a London bus showered with movie credits.

It also houses some beautiful cars, fire engines, bikes and transport artefacts bound to impress young and old visitors alike.

Formerly called the St Helens Transport Museum, the building itself dates to 1888 and has a notable history as a depot for horse-drawn, steam and electric trams, trolley and standard buses until it closed in 1984.

THERE IS SOMETHING STRANGE GOING ON AT THIS DEPOT IT'S NOT JUST FROM THE BUILDING
SOME OF THESE BUSES HAVE BEEN INVOLVED WITH TRAFIC INCIDENTS .

IT'S OUR JOB TO FIND OUT WHAT SPIRITS ARE STILL HERE.
