Part of a series of late night events at God's House Tower, GHT Lates is an opportunity to explore the building by night while enjoying live performances from some of the South's best musicians.
Kairos Conjunction - Kairos Conjunction is a new project bringing together musicians from different backgrounds – folk, jazz, rock, classical, or anything else to craft joyful sounds from a mix of original melodies and jazz standards. This line-up will feature Louis Archer – saxophone and flute Nic Bradford – guitar, Alasdair Paton – accordion, Alan Stewart – percussion and Jean-Michel Zejgman – bass
Tenderlore - Tenderlore are Hayley McDonnell, Olly Lewis and Rob Kitney. The trio met as fellow singer/songwriters in Southampton. Inspired by each other’s music they began to collaborate on each other’s songs, eventually adopting the name ‘Tenderlore’ in 2014. Tenderlore have gigged widely across the UK and Ireland, supporting acclaimed artists such as Martin Simpson and Olivia Chaney along the way, and have released two full-length studio albums. The second of these, entitled Tŷ Crwn, was released in November 2018, and sees Tenderlore expand to a five piece band.
Katy Hooper - Katy Hooper is a singer–songwriter with roots in many places between the countries she has lived & travelled. Self taught, Katy uses delicate vocals and finger picking guitar to create her own style that 'captures the transient sense of life on the road' (Folk Radio UK). During her performances you may hear strumming patterns from South America, hints of Spanish flamenco or old-time blues within a predominantly folk style set of original songs.
Katy has performed at music venues and festivals in the UK, Latin America, Australia and Europe and her discography comprises of three independently produced records. Her songs are inspired by the natural world and personal encounters with the different people and countries through which she travels.
