About this event
Part of a series of late night events at God's House Tower, GHT Lates is an opportunity to explore the building by night while enjoying live performances from some of the South's best musicians.
Sorrel Nation “- You have a signature voice, when I hear you sing I will know it is Sorrel Nation” – (Richard Elkington, Owner The Drawingroom Chesham) “Sorrel’s voice is off the scale stunning” – (Gill Tee, Co-founder Black Deer Festival)
Travelling troubadour Sorrel Nation brings a soulful mix of folk-rock to country and engages audiences with emotive lyrics, 70s inspired style and a voice full of soul that can truly open the heart. 2024 saw multiple new releases from Sorrel including a single featuring Steve Balsamo in May, the delicate and beautiful live EP ‘Thirty Summers’ in July and the critically acclaimed debut studio album ‘Lost En Route’ in October.
Sorrel accomplished two successful UK wide tours in 2024, including her first ever solo tour in April and first full band tour in October to accompany the release of ‘Lost En Route’, an album Sorrel is immensely proud of. 2025 will be no different as Sorrel embarks on three tours and exciting festival appearances to promote her debut album and its release on vinyl in March. And yes…Sorrel Nation is her real name

Washed Out Parade - Washed Out Parade are a roots collective, formed on the UK festival circuit, and based in Hampshire. They specialise in heart wrenching and foot stomping originals, written by their lead guard of singer and guitarist Jon Sharps and singer and keys player Ri Baroche. The name ‘parade’ really comes into force at their live gigs, where a multitude of musical combinations could occur, and an always eclectic and electric sound guaranteed. Their debut album, Ragged Mile, was released on 7th April 2025. With 15 musicians under their banner on the record, the album’s release was celebrated with a packed out show in Southampton the day before. They’re currently working on their second work of all original material, due for release in 2026.

Lost Post - Lost Post are an alt-country band, formed in a Southampton pub in 2022 by Arkansasforged singer and guitarist, Brandon Otto; Romani bassist, Niki Balazs; Southamptonborn lap steel, banjo, and harmonica player, A.M. Davis; and joined soon after by writer and lyricist Alice Stinetorf; and producer, guitarist and vocalist, Lou Sawdy. The band draw on the rich storytelling elements of both old-time American and traditional English music, woven into a unique blend of foot-stomping country, swampy blues and delicate folk music.
This year saw Lost Post gigging relentlessly, including playing to a packed-out crowd on the Buskers Wharf stage at Boomtown Fair and the acoustic stage at Wickham Festival. They’ve also had the opportunity to play shows supporting the likes of Nashville’s honkytonk queen, Emily Nenni, and plenty of other amazing acts including Skinny Lister, 3 Daft Monkeys and Nick Parker. They’ve been building a growing fanbase since releasing their debut single ‘Charlotte’ (for which they were interviewed on BBC Radio Solent) and their latest EP ‘Hope (and All Its Promise)’, which was also featured on BBC Introducing. They’re currently recording the band’s first full-length album, produced by Lou Sawdy, which you can expect to find in all the usual places in Spring 2025, with a tour planned in support of its release.
