Giant Lantern Puppet Presentation with renowned Artists and Makers

Artists have been busy working with renowned puppet maker Andrew Kim and Assistant Artist Kath Kim to create large scale lantern puppets for Urban Wilderness CIC Winter Event taking place in December 2025.

Join us for a free lantern puppet showcase at St James's Church, Longton to see some of the incredible work that has taken place over the last few weeks. This is a chance to see giant lanterns up close, to meet makers, artists and designers from all across the world and to be some of the first to see these unique lanterns in the heart of Longton!

This is not a show but a really informal event to come and see 2 x Giant Lanterns in Longton and get inspired!

This event is taking place at 10pm so please be aware there may be low light and a torch may be required!
