Finish off the day of the Gransden Show by walking down the road to Fat Hen Farm. Help raise money for vital projects in Ukraine whilst sampling local beer and listening to local bands. Parking is available, and the gig is under cover.

This gig is being set up and financed by Andy Greaves. Ukraine is close to his and his family's heart. During the first month of the war, Andy drove to the Ukraine/Romanian border to take supplies from UK, and act as a shuttle backwards and forwards for the many NGOs and volunteers set up as a response to the crisis. He stayed there for 2 weeks, and thanks to Inga Smelik's charity Salvation Anchor Foundation in NE Romania as his base.

By the time Andy returned, the Homes for Ukraine scheme had been finalised. An excruciating 4 months later, he picked up Nataliia, her daughter Katya and their dog Ashley from France and there begins another story!

Tonight's proceeds will be split between the foundation and The Resurrection Church in Kyiv, led by Igor Fedorovych. There will be a display on the night detailling the work they do, and also Andy's 2 week journey.

This line up is not final as of June, but will include at this point:

Sudden Creation. Great Gransden's answer to Vince Clarke, Chris Mines has been channelling his inner Moog/Roland for a few years now, and put out new material this year, followed by a worldwide tour of Norfolk. Be assured that the updated I've Never Met Vince Clarke will feature in the set, plus many other self penned synth classics accompanied by stunning visuals. And a featured slot in the aGBBoG set too.

The Sarah Skinner Blues Band. Renowned all over the East of England, jazz and blues vocalist Sarah Skinner has graciously offered to perform here tonight. Her range, power and versatility are amongst the best in the business. Catch her doing what she knows so well. The rhythm section from her Blue Band will perform numbers by Joe Bonnamassa, Beth Hart, Dusty Springfield, Imelda May amongst others.

A Great Big Band of Greaves. Renowned all over the East of Great Gransden! The biggest band ever to come out of Eltisley Road, over the past 8 years this band has travelled as far away as Fox St, West St and even the depths of Little Gransden. This gig sees them pack up the trumpets and travel all the way to the other end of Sand Road, don the wellies and set up shop at Fat Hen Farm!

Set up by Andy (Greaves) to play the songs and arrangments he always wanted to do, aGBBoG has over the years morphed into the best village band. Consisting of anything from 13 players and upwards, the band plays literally anything. Dusty Springfield, James, Tears for Fears, Aretha Franklin, Phil Collins, Coldplay, even Curiosity Killed the Cat. Yes, really.

Rhythm section, horns, more vocalists than you can shake a mike stand at and Gransden's answer to Vince Clarke. It's all here, and doesn't take itself that seriously. Seriously.......
