The cathedral is filled with beautiful stained glass, which has historically created an amazing atmosphere when paired with our lighting setup.

By Train:

  • Around a 6 minute walk from Newcastle Central Station
  • Newcastle train station is very well-connected, serving as a major transportation hub in the North East of England

By Bus:

  • Monument Grainge Street (Stop 57) is about a 2 minute walk from the cathedral, served by multiple bus lines

On Foot or By Bike:

  • A short 10 - 15 minute walk from Newcastle City Centre
  • Cycle routes are accessible on the majority of the roads surrounding Newcastle Cathedral

By Car:

  • There is limited parking options around the cathedral, and we recommend other options
  • If parking is the only option, we suggest Dean Street (5 minute walk), St Nicholas Street (Blue Badge Parking), John Dobson Street (approx. 10 minute walk)
