Venue: Peterborough Cathedral, Minster Precincts, Peterborough, PE1 1XSThe Cathedral is situated in the heart of Peterborough city centre, making it easily accessible by various modes of transport.

By Train:

  • Peterborough Railway Station is approximately a 10–15 minute walk from the Cathedral.
  • Direct services are available from London (approximately 55 minutes), Cambridge, Leicester, and York.
  • Follow pedestrian signs from the station to the city centre and the Cathedral.

By Bus:

  • The Queensgate Bus Station is about a 10-minute walk from the Cathedral.
  • Numerous local and regional bus services connect to the city centre, providing convenient access.

On Foot or By Bike:

  • The Cathedral is within walking distance from various city centre locations.
  • Cycle racks are available nearby for those wishing to bike to the Cathedral.

By Car:

While there is no public parking within the Cathedral grounds, several city council car parks are located within a 5–10 minute walk:

  • Bishop’s Road Car Park (PE1 1YZ)
  • Riverside Car Park (PE1 1EG)
  • Car Haven Car Park (PE1 1YX)

All have a height restriction of 2.3m.

Can I still claim my free items if I do not attend?

Free items included with tickets are only valid for attendees - These cannot be claimed on behalf of another ticket holder.

Is this event for me?

Our Festival is suitable for all gin and rum lovers! If you’re thirsty for knowledge or just want to party the night away, the Gin & Rum Festival is for you! Discover new favourites with samples from our hand-picked guest distillers, treat yourself at our themed bars, and let your hair down!

What kind of drinks are available?

You will be spoilt for choice with over 120 of the best gins and rums on the market! Still not convinced that gin and rum are for you? Just head over to our Cocktail bar where you can find a selection of seasonal cocktails, authentic sipping tequilas, beer, and prosecco!

What if I don’t like Gin or Rum?

Still not convinced that a Gin & Rum Festival is for you?… No problem! Just head over to our Cocktail bar where you can find a selection of seasonal cocktails, authentic sipping Tequilas, Beer, and of course Fizz!

How do I buy drinks?

Drink tokens are available to buy at the token station on arrival via cash or card. Each token can be exchanged for a 25ml measure of any gin or rum with a complementary mixer and garnish at any of our bars.

Will there be entertainment, seating and food?

Our award-winning resident DJ and live entertainment keep the party going throughout the Festival, and delicious food is available for sale from our on-site venders. Please note that this is not a seated event, although some venues may have some or limited seating available.

Will there be a photographer?

The Gin & Rum Festival Team will be taking photographs and video footage throughout most Festivals, some festivals will be exempt. We would also love for you to post your own photos and tag @GinFestival and #GinandRumFestival

Do I need to print my ticket off before I arrive?

Your tickets will be emailed to you, you can either print this and bring it with you or display them through a smartphone or tablet, as we scan the QR code. To avoid any delays, please have your ticket ready to be scanned.

Does the ticket have to be used by the person named on it?

No, as we understand that some people may purchase tickets as gifts.

If I go out, can I come back in?

You are free to come in and out of the Festival, but only during your designated session time.

What if I need a refund?

All tickets are non-refundable upon purchase.

Are drink tokens refundable?

All drink tokens are non-refundable. If you have unused tokens, these can be used as cash value towards the purchase of a bottle from the Gin & Rum Festival Bottle Shop (located at the Token Station) during the Festival.
