Gin lovers are invited to get ‘into the spirit’ at a tasting evening to be held at The Three Fishes restaurant on Thursday 17th November.
The Mitton based restaurant, part of the Northcote Leisure Group, is staging the event to support CANW as their chosen charity for 2016.
The evening will be hosted by gin expert Julian Kaye of the Wright Wine Company in Skipton, and will offer guests the chance to sample a number of different gins, as well as offering an insight into their different characters, flavours and qualities. A hotpot supper will be served during the event.
All proceeds raised from the evening will go towards our Raised in the Ribble Valley initiative, a service which provides free specialist therapeutic counselling for people who have experienced emotional trauma.
The scheme, part of our Emotional Health counselling service, helps children, young people and adults with a wide range of issues including loss and bereavement, domestic abuse and anger management issues and is supported by fundraising activities, events and voluntary donations.
Martin Hurn, General Manager of The Three Fishes said: “We’re really proud to be supporting CANW as our chosen charity this year, and the response from our customers has been wonderful.
“As well as offering diners the opportunity to make a donation to CANW when they pay for their meal, we’ve worked with the charity to put on three major events to raise funds and awareness of the great work they do in the Ribble Valley.
“The gin tasting evening will be a small, exclusive event which will give guests the opportunity to learn more about their favourite spirits and where they come from.”
Martin Hartley-Smith, CANW Business and Marketing Director added: “Our partnership with The Three Fishes has been a great success and it’s wonderful to be toasting the relationship with the gin tasting evening.
“We want to thank The Three Fishes and their customers for their continued support and donations which will make a real difference to people in crisis in the Ribble Valley.”
Tickets to the gin tasting evening at 7.00pm on Thursday 17th November are available at the price of £20 per person. Places are strictly limited to 30 guests, so book early to avoid disappointment.
